WME Services carries out building work across Bromsgrove, Harborne, Halesowen, Stourbridge and Hagley, as well as the surrounding areas of the West Midlands. If you are unsure whether we cover your location, please get in touch and we will be happy to advise.

What services do you offer?

We offer a full range of construction services including extensions (single storey, kitchen, double storey and wrap-around), loft conversions (dormer, hip to gable and gable fronted dormer), garage conversions, garden rooms, full refurbishments, roofing installation and insurance claim work. We work on both domestic and commercial properties.

How do I get a quote?

Getting a quote is straightforward. Simply fill in our online quote form or contact us directly and a member of the WME Services team will be in touch to arrange a convenient time to visit your property, discuss your requirements and put together a detailed, no-obligation quote.

Do you need planning permission for an extension?

This depends on the type, size and position of the extension, as well as the specific characteristics of your property. Many extensions fall within permitted development rights and do not require formal planning permission. However, properties in conservation areas or those that have already been extended may require a planning application. We can advise you on this from the outset of your project.

Do you need planning permission for a loft conversion?

Most loft conversions are covered by permitted development rights, provided they stay within certain volume and design limits. Again, this depends on your specific property and location. WME Services will assess your property and advise on the appropriate route before any work begins.

Are you accredited?

Yes. WME Services holds accreditations with CHAS, Constructionline and NICEIC. These accreditations reflect our commitment to health and safety, quality standards and professional compliance.

How long does an extension take to complete?

Timescales vary significantly depending on the type and scale of the extension. A single storey extension typically takes between eight and twelve weeks, while a double storey extension may take longer. We will provide a realistic programme for your specific project at the time of quoting.

How long does a loft conversion take?

A standard dormer loft conversion typically takes between six and ten weeks, though this depends on the complexity of the design and the scope of finishing works required. We will give you a clear timeline before work begins.

Do you carry out commercial construction work?

Yes. As well as domestic projects, WME Services carries out construction work for commercial clients. Our multi-trade capability and accreditations make us well placed to handle commercial projects to the standards required. Please contact us to discuss your commercial requirements.

Do you carry out insurance claim work?

Yes. We work on insurance claim reinstatement projects for both domestic and commercial properties. We work alongside loss assessors and coordinate the required repair and reinstatement work to the standard required by your insurer.
